Shivani Dogra Interiors : India inspired ( Part Two )

Shivani is one of my personal favorites. Also because perhaps our design sensibilities are so similar to mine.

Love the black and white monochromes in these images.

Client wanted her home to look like a goodearth showroom ( we all do :)). Husband was aghast at the idea and the cost :) so we struck middle ground. I chose the colours for the rooms from the good earth pallets and some of the clients old art

“I loved working on this the most! It took me all of 2 weeks. Client was a civil servant in temporary government housing. Moved to Delhi from Bangalore and needed a quick fix to an empty flat as family didn’t want to move with him. He insisted on cream and white and said he didn’t want any bright colour. He stayed completely out of the creative and came into the place only after it was done– was thrilled. That place has real magic in it, anyone that walked in felt really peaceful, calm and relaxed.”
